Cum funcționează acest calculator?
Cubic feet = Length × Width × Height (all in feet). Enter the three dimensions and the calculator multiplies them together, then converts the result to cubic yards (÷ 27), cubic inches (× 1728), cubic meters (× 0.0283168), liters (× 28.3168) and US gallons (× 7.48052).

How this is calculated
Cubic feet (ft³) is the standard US/imperial unit for measuring the volume of rooms, shipping containers, refrigerators, mulch, concrete and more. Volume is the product of three perpendicular dimensions: length × width × height (or depth). All three measurements must be in the same unit — feet — before you multiply; if your dimensions are in inches, divide each by 12 first, or if they are in yards, multiply each by 3.
Once the cubic-foot volume is known, converting to other units is straightforward multiplication by exact or agreed factors: 1 ft³ = 1728 in³ exactly (12³); 1 ft³ = 1/27 yd³ exactly (3³); 1 ft³ = 0.0283168 m³; 1 ft³ = 28.3168 litres; 1 ft³ ≈ 7.48052 US gallons. These factors are used by the display table.
Common uses include estimating how much concrete to order (typically priced per cubic yard), sizing a storage unit, calculating soil or mulch for a garden bed, or checking that a shipment fits a freight container. Note that this calculator assumes a perfect rectangular (cuboid) space — irregularly shaped rooms or containers need to be broken into rectangular sub-sections.
Întrebări frecvente
Multiply cubic feet by 0.0283168. For example, 100 ft³ = 100 × 0.0283168 = 2.83168 m³. Alternatively, divide by 35.3147.
One cubic yard equals exactly 27 cubic feet (3 × 3 × 3 = 27). Divide your cubic-foot result by 27 to convert to cubic yards.
Divide each dimension in inches by 12 to get feet, then multiply. Or multiply all three inch dimensions together and divide by 1728 (12³).
