Как работи този калкулатор?

Convert between grams, moles, and particles using n = m/M and N = n × 6.022 × 10²³. The molar mass M (g/mol) equals the formula mass in atomic mass units, found by summing atomic masses from the periodic table. One mole of any substance contains Avogadro's number (6.022 × 10²³) of particles.

Формула
n = m ÷ M (moles = grams ÷ molar mass) • N = n × Nₐ (particles = moles × 6.022 × 10²³)
How this is calculated

A mole is the SI unit of amount of substance, defined since the 2019 SI redefinition as exactly 6.02214076 × 10²³ elementary entities (Avogadro's number, Nₐ). One mole of any substance contains exactly this many atoms, molecules, or formula units — regardless of the substance.

The molar mass M (in g/mol) connects the microscopic world to the macroscopic one. It numerically equals the relative atomic or formula mass in atomic mass units. For example, water (H₂O) has a molar mass of 2 × 1.008 + 15.999 = 18.015 g/mol. Given a mass m in grams, the number of moles is n = m/M; given moles, mass is m = n × M. The number of molecules or formula units is then N = n × Nₐ.

The molar mass you enter should come from the periodic table (for elements) or be calculated by summing the atomic masses of all atoms in the formula (for compounds). The calculator assumes a pure substance; mixtures require separate treatment for each component.

A mole (mol) is the SI unit for amount of substance. One mole contains exactly 6.02214076 × 10²³ elementary entities (Avogadro's number). This number was chosen so that one mole of a substance has a mass in grams equal to its relative atomic or molecular mass.

Sum the atomic masses of all atoms in the chemical formula, using values from the periodic table. For example, CO₂ has molar mass = 12.011 + 2 × 15.999 = 44.009 g/mol. Molecular mass calculators can automate this from a formula.

Water (H₂O) has a molar mass of 18.015 g/mol. 1 g of water = 1/18.015 ≈ 0.05551 mol. Multiplied by Avogadro's number: 0.05551 × 6.022 × 10²³ ≈ 3.34 × 10²² molecules.
