Ako táto kalkulačka funguje?

CPA = Total Ad Spend ÷ Number of Conversions. Enter spend and conversions to get the average cost per customer acquired. Add total revenue to compute ROAS (Revenue ÷ Spend) and profit. A sustainable campaign keeps CPA below customer lifetime value.

Vzorec
CPA = Total Spend ÷ Conversions • ROAS = Revenue ÷ Spend
How this is calculated

Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) — also called cost per conversion or cost per order — measures how much you spend on advertising to win one new customer or achieve one defined conversion goal. It is calculated by dividing total advertising spend by the number of confirmed conversions (purchases, sign-ups, leads, or any goal event) over the same period. A lower CPA is better only when it reflects genuine efficiency gains; cutting spend so much that conversions fall proportionally will not help profitability.

This calculator also computes Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) when you enter total revenue generated by the same campaign. ROAS = Revenue ÷ Spend: a ROAS of 4× means four dollars returned for every dollar spent on advertising. Profit here is simply Revenue minus Spend, covering only the advertising cost; production, fulfilment, and overhead costs would reduce true net profit further.

CPA is sensitive to attribution model (last-click, first-click, or data-driven), tracking window, and seasonality. Compare CPA consistently within the same attribution model and measurement period. Sustainable growth targets a CPA at or below the customer lifetime value (LTV) divided by the expected number of repeat purchases.

Často kladené otázky

A good CPA depends on your margin and customer lifetime value. If a customer is worth $200 over their lifetime and your CPA is $40, that is a healthy 5× ROAS. Set a target CPA no higher than LTV divided by expected repeat purchases.

CPC (cost per click) counts every ad click; CPA (cost per acquisition) counts only confirmed sales or valuable conversions. CPA = CPC ÷ Conversion Rate, so at a 2% conversion rate CPA is 50× the CPC.

Yes. Improve your landing page conversion rate, refine audience targeting, or test new ad creatives. A 50% improvement in conversion rate halves CPA at the same spend level.
